Coreopsis 'Fall Sensation 16-789'

<< PREV Image 1 of 2 NEXT >>
Coreopsis ()

I love yellow and red flowers, and 16-789 fits the bill with flowers that look like they are on fire. These have red centers that radiate out to yellow in vertical lines over the petals. The plants are blooming lightly compared to others in the series, but the flowers are excellent. Trimming plants back before their first flower is a good idea as they can be top-heavy and lodge when in full bloom.
