The Gardens trials the newest varieties of annuals from all over the world and puts perennials to the test to find those that stand up to southeastern heat and humidity. The Gardens at UGA is open all year and is a great source of ideas and information for students, gardeners, and industry professionals. We invite you to visit.

Location: 220 West Green Street Athens.  Right on Campus inbetween Snelling Dinning and Pharmacy building.

April 8th 2017 8:00am - 2:00pm.  Brought to you by the Trial Gardens, The UGA Botanical Gardens, and the UGA Horticulture Club.  Admission is free and all are invited.  Master Gardeners and horticulturists will be available for questions regarding selections.  Find plants not available anywhere else and talk with industry professionals.

Public Open House at the Trial Gardens
July 15th 2017 9:00am - 12:00pm.  Want to see something new?  We invite all of Athens and surrounding neighbors to come out and enjoy the gardens.  We test plants that cannot be seen anywhere else to see how they handle our hard Georgia summers.
